A naked Texas man who was found wandering the streets was shot and killed by police.
According to Fox7 , the 18 year old black man was acting “erratically” before he was fatally shot by police on Monday.
“My partner saw someone wandering around in front of the house,” Erik Bremer told the local news station.
The naked man became the subject of several Facebook posts on the Austin community’s Facebook page.
By the time the Austin Police Department arrived on the scene, the man was in the middle of the street naked. Police have not revealed whether the man was armed.

“The subject did not comply with the commands that the officer was giving and instead, charged the officer. The officer gives repeated commands to stop and additional commands, but the subject did not comply. The incident then goes off the frame but you can hear continued commands from the officers. Then ultimately, you can hear shots being fired,” said Asst. Chief Brian Manley of the Austin Police Department.
Others are wondering how a naked man could’ve been viewed as a threat to officers.
“I don’t see how a young man, who is naked and not hurting anybody, winds up dead,” NAACP President Nelson Linder said.
“This person was acting aggressively toward these witnesses and running around the neighborhood,” Manly explained.
“I don’t know why a taser wasn’t used. I just get worried. We’re trying for kids and we want a son, so I just hope everything was handled properly,” said Myneeka Holloway, who lives in the neighborhood.
“I decided after I took my shower, I was going to go out and try to make sure everything was OK, because when I saw him, I did see that he was black,” Holloway explained. “I feel like I shouldn’t have taken a shower.”
