8 Most Hilarious Tweets Turning Paula Deen’s Racism Into Recipes #PaulasBestDishes

In case you missed it, Paula Deen came out as a racist.  Well, actually, it’s not so much that the celebrity chef came out as racist as it is that her racism was revealed during a deposition.

Deen’s  former General Manager of her Savannah, Georgia restaurant, Lisa Jackson, filed a lawsuit last year for  $1.2 million against Deen, accusing Deen of using the “N” word and accusing Deen’s husband of being physically abusive.

When asked if she’d used the “N” word, Deen replied, “Of course.”

“It’s just what they are — they’re jokes…most jokes are about Jewish people, rednecks, black folk…I can’t determine what offends another person,” said Deen.

She also had some fantasy about having black men serve food as slaves. All of this threw Twitter into a firestorm, resulting in the hashtag #PaulasBestDishes. Here are the top 8 tweets:

That's what they are? Wow! I incorporate a lot of this in my books. People hide their racism, but they practice it outside of the media. It is very much still alive and NOT well - Racism!
